"The ending was surprising and unexpected as well as thought-provoking, and stayed with me long after I had read the final pages of The Eyes of Others. An excellent read!"

The Story

I first published THE EYES OF OTHERS back in 2015 as a standalone work. It was adapted from a screenplay I had written title Through the Eyes of Others. It was a story meant to have a shocking ending and an unhappy, yet satisfying ending where justice is served.

The problem was, the antagonist wasn't going to be around for a sequel and, as some reviews pointed out, it was a missed opportunity to follow the escapades of someone with a unique skill set. "Boston" Hollinger was a soldier who experienced a terrifying traumatic brain injury in combat that was triggered again during his return to civilian life. Now he has strange dreams that aren't actually dreams at all - he is experiencing the memories of other people through their eyes.

The Second Edition of The Eyes of Others changes his story, although many of the key events and plots stay the same. The big change is the introduction to WATCHTOWER - an off-the-books group comprised of representatives from all of America's intelligence agencies designed to see threats where others don't and neutralize them.

I have great things in store for Boston in future novels. The possibilities of where his skill takes him are almost limitless. The whole time, he must deal with the one fact about himself that can't reconcile: nobody other than a select few members of WATCHTOWER even knows that he's alive, and never can.
